Die Liste, die der Campingwart in der Hand h\u00e4lt, stimmt nicht mit den belegten Parzellen \u00fcberein obwohl gen\u00fcgend Platz auf der Campingwiese w\u00e4re. Unser Platz 23 wurde offensichtlich doppelt vergeben. Wie auch immer, wir reisen sowieso weiter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Auf der Suche nach dem sagenhaften S\u00fcdkontinent umrundete der Niederl\u00e4nder Abel Tasman 1642 im Auftrag der Ostindien-Kompanie (VOC) Australien und entdeckte die nach ihm benannte Insel Tasmanien. Vor der Westk\u00fcste der S\u00fcdinsel erblickte Tasman ein \u00bbgro\u00dfes, hoch gelegenes Land\u00ab und annektierte es f\u00fcr Holland:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nieuw Zeeeland, Neuseeland. Hier in der Golden Bay hatte er ersten Kontakt zu den Maori, die vier seiner M\u00e4nner t\u00f6teten &#8211; Tasman selbst setzte nie einen Fuss auf Neuseeland.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Auf dem Weg  nordw\u00e4rts zur Golden Bay heisst  es nach wenigen Kilometern \u201eRoad closed ahead\u201c. \u00fcber den Top Hill Trail, bis zumn\u00f6rdlichsten Punkt der S\u00fcdinsel, dem Cape Farewell.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-jetpack-slideshow aligncenter\" data-effect=\"slide\"><div
